car wash/wax secret, explained....

sup guys, whenver i wash my car and if i decide to wax it and when it's time to remove the wax i don't feel like buffing it off(i got an electric wax buffer) i just wet the car with a garden hose at high pressure to get the wax outta the moldings(this is done after the wax has fully hardened)and remove most of the wax. the i take a chamoise(the absorber)and dry the car...like magic. the car comes out alot shinier than just a wash alone, and a whole lot less work than buffing out the wax and then removing the wax build up around any moldings with a smallbrush. try it out it works awsome. i discovered this one day i had applied wax to my car and it started raining. :D

the whole point of waxing is the buffing it out part, that's what makes the car look good.

that's what i thought too, til i tried this cause one day i put wax on my car and it started raining right before i was gonna take off the wax. then i said ---- it i aint gonna apply wax again now, then i got the hose and sprayed off the wax. then i dried (edit: with a chamois-no buffing)it while removing the last of the wax which was hardley none. it turned out real shiny, and this was on a 96' kia sephia that the only way to get it shinny is to wax it. the paint on this car duls out from wash to wash. i washed it today and i applied wax, while rubbing it off with a buffer i got a little tired so i hosed the rest of the wax off and i dried it with the chamois, as good as new. just a shortcut i learned. if anyone wants to try it you could just try it on the hood, or a fender. buffing it out is stil better, but this is realy good to do everytime i wash this car cause it keeps it shinny. where if i wouldn't have done this, it would've been dul.
