hmm i had a hmt but i had to sell it due to financial reasons also i have a refurbished axle (broken then welded back together) and im not sure whether that will handle the boost.

you snapped the shaft of an axle and then welded it back together?....and it doesnt shake the living ---- outta your car?

i can see snapping the joint, but i thought the shaft was supposed to be pretty strong

its refurbished so honda welded it back together (or so i was told) and it runs fine even when i redline

Axles are $80. I wouldn't think about that. I'd be thinking about what that guy has done to his motor to make him not want a boosted car over an N/A car.

im thinking of trading him and swapping out that motor and putting in a new less milage Z6 with a cam and port and polished head seeing as d series are relitively cheap, i have a 62 nova that im going to sell come spring time so that will fund whatever i want to do. i wish i could get some pics up damnit

well anyways man i dont think you should trade, your car is your car and you know what it has and what it needs, that will save you a lot of stress believe me. Carbon steel is very brittle when it gets hot and in the wrong conditions can snap relatively easy. Get a new set of axles if you have that on your conscience man
