Car painting question
Yesterday i sprayed my front bumper and it came out pretty good. When i look at it though, i saw about five or six pieces of debree in it. I haven't sprayed any clear yet and when i picked it off today it was paint globs. What is this a sign of? How can i prevent this? I wanna get as perfect as i can in a clean garage atmosphere.

Re: Car painting question
are you spraying with a spray can or actual spray gun? if your using a spray gun what kind of paint are you using and what mixture?

Re: Car painting question
i would think when you wet sand, it will clear it up.

Was the paint still wet the next day since you picked off paint globs??

Re: Car painting question
make sure your gun is very clean, take it apart and use a good cleaning brush to get all the crap out, and even let your gun seat in a some kind of container filled with laquer thiner. And also try cranking your air preausre to about 40psi, and make sure youre not spraying out TOO much of material, if needed turn your niddle inward thus restricting much of the material flow.

Re: Car painting question
whats the pressure are you spraying at? maybe you dont have enough pressure and its globbing.

Re: Car painting question
As its been stated, your spraying too much paint, not enough air.

Re: Car painting question
