Yeah I've seen so many straight out dangerous oil lines on this site, it just creeps me out.
I'll never run anything but steel pipe close to the turbo. I had a rubber oil line connected to the turbo once, but after 18 months or so the rubber line was all hard and fragile from the high temperatures, and it cracked and started leaking. Could have gotten ugly there. And it had a stainless steel braiding over it for protection.

my friend bought some 3/8th oil line (not fuel line) and its like 1/2inch thick outside and cost 4 dollars a foot...---- that braided steel can't be too much more then that
