HAH...age ftw...I'm 27, I have full coverage on a 2005 Sentra SpecV, mine runs $177 a month...I guess it's not great, but it could be worse...Mine is with Progressive, I've had them 4 quite awhile...Full coverage on my 93 Mustang 5.0 was like $130 somethin' with them as well...

farmers insurance, $36 a month for liability so thats $432 a year. I've been meaning to go up to full coverage, it doesn't cost much more, I've just been lagging.

Re: Car Insurance..Who do you go through/who has the best rates?
^^^ Actually, this is either my 9th or 10th vehicle and 6 or 7 of those were at one time or another wrecked(not always turned in on insurance though)...2 of those were total losses...as far as tickets go, I quit keeping up with that a LOOOONG time ago...I'd say I've had 5 or 6 actual SPEEDING tickets in that time, the worse being an 88 in a 55. I think speeding tickets stay on your driving record only a certain amount of time though...When you are younger your insurance is DEFINITELY gonna be higher(I believe rates take a substantial drop when you hit 25, IF you have a relatively clean MVR)...Best bet for a younger person is to try and let your parents list your car on THEIR insurance and just list you as a secondary(I THINK that's what it's called) driver...but my mom would never go for that ----, either
