Car idea....4AG-E
I was drivin down the road the other day, and saw one of those, ''I wonder what that car has in it'' cars for sale on the side of the road. I stop and its a Toyota Corolla Hatch, a FX16. I look at the dash, noticed th tach, and it red-lines at like 7200, so I had to pop the hood. I popped the hood, and low and be hold, a 4AG-E.
Its FWD, and only has like 100K on it. The bad side, AUTOMATIC!
I think it would make a fun, just to ---- with car, or rip out the motor, and sell it. Humm.....what do you think.
BTW< I could get the car for probably no more than 300 bucks. Its a rust free car, just an auto.

i dunno... i wouldnt do it, unless its in good condition.

The 4age is like the B16 of hondas. 4cyl that can produce ---- loads of power, with little mods, can handle alot of boost, 15lbs stock, and I might be wrong with this, but the only difference in the USDM and the JDM is the cam. Also, there is a JDM version with a 20 valve. Its rated at 180HP i think. the car Im lookin at is rated at 160hp, but that auto sure does bring it down. I could sell the engine for probably $4-$500 bucks. Im gonna go see, maybe it isnt even worth it at all.

Im not really 100% up to speed with these, I just know the 4age is a bad *** motor.
Like I said before, and maybe i didnt, i also know of an 86 corolla for like 1300 bucks, I might see if he'll take payments? He might?!

4-age is played out, if you were getting a AE86, then i'd say go for it, but a front wheel drive auto? you'd have more fun in a 6 speed 4 wheel drive toyota tercel wagon.
ohh yeah, and the ae86 has a 5sp with LSD!!! Im gonna talk to him to!
