If you know who did it find some big ------ ------s and pay them to beat the living ---- out of the piece of ---- who stole your car. Either that or take the money from the insurance and buy a new car and forget about the old one.

I would definitely suggest the first option.

Just speaking out of recent experience. Being the victim of auto theft will leave you with such a hole. Even if the police find the people that stole your car, chances are that the parts are either sold or traded or hidden in somebody elses garage or closet. When my hatch was stolen, It was recovered sitting flat on the ground 100% stripped 3 blocks away from the guys house that was arrested with my stolen parts. Like the inner plastics, back seats, guage cluster and my engine. But because he sold everything else that was identifyable to the exact car, they charged him with just stealing my engine..... theft 1 in oregon. I asked the DA's office how they could charge him with just stealing my engine when it was bolted to my car? They didn't have a clear answer. Either way, they offered him a plea deal and he will be on the streets in no time.
I too had a feeling I knew who stole my stuff, but you should just let it go and don't think about doing something worse to these people. Because the police will arrest you and prosecute you for just about everything except stealing cars. Just remember. There are always open jail cells for violent offenders. And they usually don't let you bond out of jail if you comit a violent offense. Arson is 15 in the slammer for sure. And who knows about shooting people in the face. I'm sure that vary's on whether or not the victim dies or suffers from lifelong disabilities. Either way, your best bet is to grieve and then come to terms with the fact that you won't get your stuff back. And the second that you realize this and accept it, you will feel much better. maybe.
