hope that doesn't happen when i turbo my GTi this summer... :-X :-X seems like something that can easily happen seeing as how on those cars a decent sized turbo is basically stuffed in so close to the firewall

damn. Wouldnt closing the cabin off (alosing all doors/windows) have prevented the fire from gowing so radily in tehre? What an idiot. I'm never buying a turbo VW now.

I would have been ripping my shirt off and using that to stop the flames from ------ing... then I would have told my buddy to put the camera down and start ripping my stereo and gauges out... along with the wideband etc...

Man, that really sucks, I'm glad my turbo is in the front of my engine and not by the firewall...

who he ---- videos smoke comeing from the engine compartment. wouldnt you pull over as fast as you can and put the fire out. those guys did squat to put that fire out . i would of had the jack and lug wrench out trying to save the rims.
