All-motor FWD and RWD compete all the time. RWD bugs and mazdas seem to be the only competition for FWD Hondas.

=) agreed, FWD and RWD cars compete in the same class "All Motor" (4cyls)





Ken Scheeper & Jesus Padilla, who drive RX7's and Larry and Scott Kelly who drive the fastest RWD 4cylcs in the world. They compete with the fastest fwd cars like Scott Mohler and Leslie Durst. All their fastest ET's are low 10's and high 9's. Both FWD/RWD in the same class.

If you compare the trap speeds vs the ETs on FWD vs RWD cars, the RWD generally have much better times with the same trap speeds, because they launch harder and get better 60ft times.

RWD RX7 (Fastest NA RX7)

Leslie Durst
9.93 @ 134.99
FWD CRX (fastest NA Honda)

Looks pretty damn close to me
