if you want to chirp 2nd or 3rd you can just give it gas before dropping the clutch. if you shift normally as in rev matching it won't chirp, even if you have a 3 puck race clutch.

or when you are shifting gears you could just open you mouth and say 'chirp', ---- with that method I chirp through all 5 gears in my automatic

Update: I checked the tire pressure and I was down a bit and my front tires are almost bald. I put the pressure back up to 32psi, and it fries 2nd no problem, doesn't make any noise when it does it, but from the looks of the tach and the car pulling sideways until I shift to third, i'd say it's working pretty good.

I can chirp in every gear in my bone-stock 99 Si if I dump the clutch and mash the gas. That car's never have good traction, and it eats tires up. I'm > 40k miles and in need of a 4th set of tires.
