back story, i'm selling a guitar on craigslist. $180 obo
guy offers me $150 and gonna pick it up yesterday at 3pm
5pm he emails me and said he had to work late and would tomorrow (today) be ok.
i told him that was fine.
today i email him at 9am and ask if he is gonna make it over today cause i got 3 other people that want to pick it up today.

i told one of the other guys i would let him know if Fred is gonna get it or not. the one guy said he has to work at 2pm today so to let him know soon.

fred never gets back to me. at 1pm i told the other guy to come over and get it. jimmy buys the guitar for $150.
i email fred back telling him and immediately fred emails me back saying that i'm fucked up for selling it and that he has my address.
after he said he has my address he typed j/k

i'm not into that kind of ---- since i have my wife, mom, and 1 year old daughter living here with me.

if anyone could get me a last name and address or something i can use IF NEEDED.
i will not use the info to go to his house and mess with him, but if something happens here i'd like to know his address.

i will update this post with any info i can get, but as of right now i'm not getting anything

Checked his friends pages to see if any had more of his info, and none did, but then again I didn't look through all their comments and maybe he's commented. You could try sending him a message and see if you can get any more info.

You can also try calling compuserve or verizon and give the info you do have and try to get some info out of them. Usually if you get angry and persistant, they'll give in and give you info to get you off the phone, just don't go too far or they'll get the supervisor :P

i know the number is out of elsinore, but he's living in san diego. when i first saw the area code i didn't reconize it so i asked him where he was located.
he told me he used to live in elsinore

u gotta protect urself mike, always arange meet n greets at public places, preferably with running cameras, i make most of my exchanges at gas stations, i would only give an adress if it wont fit in my trunk
you never know what sick ---- on craigslist is looking to knife you for some drug money man, and always protect urself too, knife gun, led pipe, whatever u need

i don't have a car so i'd have to walk a few miles to the nearest place.
do you have any idea how many times i got flaked on trying to sell this guitar? i would have ended up walking to the gas station at least 30 times before some one bought it.
i always meet out in my garage. i've got some pipes and ---- out there.
also i have folding box cutter in my pocket.
usually i have a running car and i meet up at the bank that is 2 miles from here.
that way the people can't use the excuse "oh i only have $40 not the $60 you are asking"

I agree you never want to bring a stranger to your house. Even the garage if they see something they like they maybe back to get it.

Smart idea going to the bank or gas station lol. I have had my fair share of people say I only have 20's and the item was 50.00 and whatnot. 10.00 isnt a big deal normally but still. Try making a bogus account on myspace and try and add him. Alot of people add people they think they may know.
