Can this be done????

Okay I was watching that Nopi show the other day and I notice a couple of EG 6's all lined up right next to each other, with the engines vertical. I'm guessing that they had done the S2000 motor swaps, but I'm lost if this is possible how come I don't hear nothing at all about it???? and if you guys out there in web land have heard about, and have pictures etc.... please let me hav'em

that swap is complete bolton, you j ust drop the engine in aput like 12 bolts in an plug in like 4 connectors and youre done.

Dont forget to drain and renew the blinker fluid at the same time ;D

12 bolts my ass there is no way you can put a s2000 engine in a civic with a mear 12 bolt "swap", it is 14 bolts, you have the 2 on the fan shroud ::)

bobbyBgood, it's not a direct swap, pretty tough as I've seen. Not worth it either, imo :-\

What are you asking? all 4 cyl hondas are inline ???

biggmike 01-08-2005 09:22 PM

Re:Can this be done????

its a normal 4 cylinder but the car is rear wheel drive so take ur current engine and clock it 90degrees and u have a rear wheel drive config.

Re:Can this be done????

ohhhh you just turn the s2k engine 90 degrees and it just builts in....

Re:Can this be done????

s2k engine is rwd engine. ek6 is fwd.. right? so if it just bults in.. thats where i'm lost...

con 01-08-2005 09:30 PM

Re:Can this be done????

It wont bolt in, it was a joke, It doesn't even turn the right way. You could take a civic and convert it to rwd but other than that I think you would be fucked :P

Re:Can this be done????

just get a S2K engine, rotate it 90 degrees to what a normal engine would be, put in the 12 bolts, add the blinker and turbo fluid then supercharge away y0!

Make sure the supercharger is N/A, the worst superchargers are the ones that give Forced Induction, They are EVIL, remember N/A 0wns B00st!
