That is false. On tickets there are two signiture spots. One is for the citing officer and the other is for the officer who witnessed it.

i live in washington. and for reckless driving sence its consider a felony. the cop does not have to see you do it. he can write you a ticket where you have to go to court to fight it. its just like if you murdered someone the cop does not have to see you do it. but they can acuse you for it. where they have to prove you guilty. witch in some cases is not hard. i have goten close to geting a reckless driving ticket a few times but the cop said sence i havent got a reckless driving ticket and sence it wasnt to bad he would let me go. I was hitting mad VTEC in reverse in a safeway parking lot. but ya he wasnt there and he could have gave me a reckless driving ticket. basically if its worth giving you a ticket for they will. so be carefull not to be to stupid in public.

My uncle is a cop so i asked him and he said that if there are multiple witnesses then they can give u a ticket and if they have to they can go to court and supena the witnesses to come in and give a statement, if there are two or more of them then your word isnt gonna mean much, especially if you are young. If its just one person that complains then usually its your word against theirs and nothing will happen.
