its just the guys who own them think that they are the fastest and best cars in the world, they biased (confederate flag flying guys)no offence random strike! I dont know you. they usually that think that a real Americans should not buy imports,and it is imposible to have 8 sec import, I personally never got beaten buy one, but I never raced a fully built one, and I also picked my races wisely, on the autobahn, then know they will run out of gas before we get to our destination.

hey man, if you want muscle for cheap, do a truck...my friend down here has a '83 S-15 with a 350 four bolt main, it's gotta high rise intake, 750 4 bbl, and a 150 shot of happy gas(many other upgrades, but it's not my truck so I don't know em all right off hand). The thing still has the stock 6 cylinder rear end and sits on Trans AM GTS(black honeycombs)out back and weld dragstars up front...he MIGHT have 4 grand in that truck(it isn't the PRETTIEST thing in the world, mind you) but it will F@CKIN' FLY...he beat lika 95 or 96 Z28 w/nitrous and full MSD ignition by 3 car lengths...HE SAYS he's fixin' to pull that motor and drop in a fully built 383 stroker motor...sooo you see down here the imports may win a few battles but with trucks like that cruising around(and there are a few), we'll never win the war....

as an auto lover, i got to put my 2 cent in this.
camaros are the ----. don't talk ---- about mustangs either, it's crappy owners makes them sucks. most mustangs hit about 14.5~ which is pretty fast enough for some.
i was in the proccess of building up a ford 302 for boost. my friend built one and got 450hp+ at low boost 8-9 psi? but got lazy and stayed with what im good at.
torque is fun, why do most imports talk hella ----, but when it comes down they want "a bigger motor"?
low end torque OWNS! HI POWER LOW END TORQUE AND SUPER HI END? only on turbo V8s..
