Calling out all Ontario HMT guys!!! Plans for next meet, some ideas?
 

Well the Ontario HMT meet is over... all in all it was a huge success despite the problems we had with some of the cars, at least nothing blew up.

To all the guys that were there, PM me your MSN address' I am planning another HMT meet at the end of summer, most of us have already talked about it, we are going to meet up at Cayuga Speedway in south western ontario, this will be on a weekend obviously when they have the circuit course open to the public.

I plan to do this around the time of July/August , no date has been confirmed yet though.

Anyway, let me know what you think and if you have any other ideas.

Stay tuned for pics of the 2006 Ontario HMT meet, I should be getting them from Josh this week and I'll post them up.

true. i wasnt really around last year and this year i blew my motor. Hopefully a built motor should solve that. Now on to broken trannies :6

lol, hey the turbine wheel on my turbo disappered so i, just ordered a ebay special lol, hey josh i need a 5 bold down pipe flange, can u modify the piping to fit it ill take a drive one weekend 8), never hought the turbine wheel could break in half ordered a 57 trim t3/t4 ;D

Cops can pull me over for whatever the ---- they want

I honestly drove my open header truck today and felt like I was in a luxury vehicle compared to open d/p and the heaight of the crx

Im gonna maybe take a stab at tuning myself this week while I try and find a windshield and hood, hope I can get it, throw 15lbs or so til I blow it

If you need a cheap windshield there is a guy in London who sells them for $175 installed or $120 for just the windshield (Brand new) that is how much it cost me for my coupe.

His name is Izac and his number is 519 852 3631, he dosnt have a shop or anything, he's mobile, the prices are great, give him a call next time youre down here.

Anyway, I hope Dominic (Black EK) made it home ok, guy had a basemap and a 8 hour drive home, pretty nuts to drive that far for a meet, but now that I look at it, it was worth it.

Him, Josh, Greg and I ended up pulling an all nighter from saturday morning till yesterday evening to get ---- done and everyone on the road and running, it sucks about Gregs car, but it could have been worse.

Most importantly I'd like to thank Josh, his family and John for letting us have this meet there, we wouldnt be able to do it without them especially during Mothers day, so on the Behalf of everyone I'd like to wish Josh's Mom a

Of course I made it home ok ;) (12 hours run cause I had to watch oil every 50km)
I tried again today, warmed engine it runs like stock! Josh know his stuff
I can't believe how it sounds and it took only 6.4L/100km, like a stock one
I'm so happy, got peaks at 10psi and couplers holded well

Man, I'm very glad to hear that 8), and Its great to hear that youre very happy with your setup, I remember the look on your face when you boosted for the first time it reminded me of why this meet happened in the first place, take good care of that car and get a good tune.

Maybe if i'm ever in the Quebec area we'll meet up again.

i whish i was there to see that. i was way tired and had to studied all sunday for an exam today. i also want to thank josh's family for let us use the shop. i had a very good time over there. lest not forget john he did an awesome work as well.


WOT i made it home zero problems. my car is running veryo good right now. after all the troubles i had before the meeting (leak in oil pan, charge pipes blowing off every 5 min, broken radiator, and more) im so happy all is working now. i just have to get the 6 puck in and ill be done till i blow this engine >:D
