Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
Well I am officially totally pissed about Pay Pal. This is going to be kind of long, grab a beer and some chicken and kick back nogs.
I bought three Xbox 360's and a Playstation 3 from a guy on eBay for a decent price. I knew I could make $100 a piece off them and some decent seller feedback, so cool. I sell one, no problem. Sell the other three: Account Limited....ahhh ----. Well they ask for my suppliers info, copy of my ID, and proof I had the item at the time. Sent all that. Get an email from them saying unable to lift account limitation at this time due to there being other accounts linked to this one with a negative balance. Well back a few years ago I had an account that I sold a PS2 on. Well about half a month after I sold it I moved. No longer had access to the email I used (was one through Bellsouth and they lock it when you term your account back then). Also changed banks so I just said screw it and opened a new account. So the buyer apparently opened a case saying he didn't get it, and since I didn't have access to the email I didn't know. -$295 Well that's the one they had linked it to. So I gave them the tracking number, they don't care I had 10 days to respond back then and didn't. Ok what the hell ever, gave them the $295. I just want my other $1200. Log in....all that is taken care of. Still locked...wtf??? Some dip----- that bought one of the Xbox 360's files a claim saying not as described cause the box was opened. The auction stated OPENED TO MAKE SURE ALL ITEMS WERE THERE. All the accessories were still in the factory heat sealed bags. What-the------ever...I agree to give him a refund minus shipping. He closes claim. Log in....Account Limited...new email: Linked to another account that is limited. Really getting pissed at this point. Call them. A account I opened about a year ago was limited needing ID, suppliers, proof of items etc etc. This was when I was thinking about opening a business selling some car parts here and there. So now I have to resend the exact same information to them. Can't they just use it from the current one....nope, has to have this account name on it. That's the only difference. So now I have to pay $5 to send another damn fax. I have come to the conclusion that they just are trying there damnedest to keep my money as long as they can. Oh and not to mention now eBay has suspended my account for the same information. Can't they just share it since they are owned by the same people? Nope "different entities". Bullshit!!! It's damn funny that they flagged my Pay Pal account and all of a sudden the same day they suspend my eBay account for the same information! /vent Cliffs: Pay Pal are a bunch of bitches someone please steal another plane. |
Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
Haha, ---- Paypal and ---- Egay. I'll never sell anything on Egay ever again and Paypal is used ONLY when I have to. They are so greedy and fucked up and have to tax your ass on everything you do. I've heard this same exact situation so many times. It's nice they're trying to stop the arabian cock sucking scammers, but they need to have a brain about it and not ---- with people over such stupid ----. :3

NEVER leave any money in your paypal account, ever.

Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
LOL yeah I don't. All my auctions ended one the same night. Apparently they all paid overnight and they locked my account by time I logged in in the mourning.

Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
When Jorsher was trying to buy my turbo stuff from ebay, he had $5000 in his account that they locked him out of. Screw paypal, I use them sparingly. I hate accepting payment through it.

Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
I think someone mention something about how you are SUPPOSED to have the right to claim for your balanced in your payal account in WIRTING, only after certain days of suspension.

Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
i just wrote a 10 page legal study on paypal for my business law class....turned it in 2 days ago.lol. but yea. exactly whats happened to you is the most common dispute. found out that now paypal pretty much automatically sides with the buyer. its all bullshit. oh yea, when they lock your account, its gonna stay that way for 180 days unless you threaten suit and call the D.A. of cali and nebraska. and why do you think there so eager to lock accounts for 180 days.....it stays in an interest bearing account in there favor. millions of dollars are locked in there account at any given time. total bullshit. i read about 30+ pages of there terms of service and contract. more or less, the reason why paypal can do this is that there not considered a bank or credit company, therefore they arent binded by federal banking laws.
its all total bullshit |

not sure about google. but yahoo has a pay service thats great. havent used it yet, but i have yet to see any problems out of it. I guess not. :1 Yeah, google has been prototyping a pay system... what do you know... ebay won't allow payment through it when it finally goes live... gee I wonder why. |

Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
paypal probably made more money than ebay
figure they hold a couple hundred dollars from thousands of people - they're banking on the returns they're getting from other investments with money that's not theirs |
Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
yep, those nickel and dime fees they tack on, normal fees.....
and this lock accounts for 180 days.....it stays in an interest bearing account in there favor. millions of dollars are locked in there account at any given time is how they make there money. |

Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
yep. big class action lawsuit...cant remember the total sum of money. something like 5.4 mill. shitty thing is that paypal didnt release a statement to those who qualified(figures). so most of the people involved never claimed there money. anything not claimed in a certain time frame is considered paypals money.
paypalsucks.com is a good site paypalwarning.com is a more "to the point" site. but yea. find out the name and mailing addy of the DA in cali and nebraska. call there "support" line. dont get rude/bad attitude(basically play dumb at first). when the CSR tells you theres nothing they can do(chances are high that this will be said), smack him with the "ive already contacted my lawyer and are planning to file suit, we have already contacted (names of DA's in both states make sure they even know who they are).....blah blah blah" dont threaten any of their jobs/or to bankrupt the company. just tell them in a professional matter, "i just want my money". btw. when you send them an online complaint, that department has been outsourced to china. so good luck with that. but there phone dept, is in like omaha. unless somethings changed since the beginning of the year, most of the CSR's have never been trained to do a job like this..think about it..a guy that was flipping your mcCheeseburger a few months back has access to your credit information. little bit of food for thought |
Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
Yeah I know all about the call center crap. I don't think people with access to financial or personal information should just work at a call center. That's just asking for problems. Just think of how many people probably have a few hundred $ in Pay Pal when it gets locked and they just get tired of the BS and let them keep it.
The thing I hate about Pay Pal and eBay is the buyer is ALWAYS right. ---- the seller. I don't know, this Middle Eastern guy has pissed me off. He's a total dick. Since he closed the Pay Pal claim can't I just refuse the package and stick him with it? I bet anything he bid on more than one I just doesn't want to be stuck with both. |
Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
my paypal that is 28 verified and attached to my bank has been locked for a month
I don't even want to talk about it im so pissed. |
Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
If banks made 60 billion is overdraft fees last year imagine how much paypal made.I use them but thier fees are ridiculous.I refuse to own thier "card" and withdraw any leftover money i have in thier even if its a penny.

Re: Calling all terrorist....target: Pay Pal
I think it's total crap that you have to pay to send funds in your account. I can understand from a card or whatever, but money you have in your account already??? That's BS>

They should offer no fees if you pay with your Pay Pal balance. More people would probably transfer funds into them to keep from having the fees.
