Calling all iphone ipod touch experts

I have an Ipod touch and it's been working great. The last 3 or so days I've been having issues though. It says it's connected to a wireless network and it has an IP address but it won't connect to the internet. It tries to load for a while and then it eventually gives up and says it can't load the page.

Eventually it just starts working but I don't know what changes.

help!

Are you using someone else's connection that possibly isn't online?

I know I know.... It's not perfect but I like it.

I've had this issue with a bunch of different networks. Some that were mine, some that were others.

When i get the new one, sure. The whole bottom row stopped working, which means no texting, no connecting to secure wireless connections, no scpaebar, no numbers, no anything that uses the bottom row. I hacked it a year ago, and it just fucked up now, restored it and still fuxor'd

If you have a Wing, upgrade to Open Touch v6. Adds the threaded SMS, some other nifty features, and runs better than factory firmware. I'm running Open Touch v6.5 without SBP or ThrottleLauncher. Only has 40% of memory used at startup, so runs much smoother.

Other WinMo phones usually have custom firmwares as well. XDA developers forum is pretty good for finding them.

iPhone has a pretty nice interface and runs smooth, I like that aspect. The price is a bit better and to the point where I think it's worth what they charge, but I just don't like touchscreen keyboards or how locked down it is (yeah I know you can hack it).

Try upgrading to the newest firmware and do a reset?
