My grey 300zx twin turbo was hit last year, 3-15-05, and finally his insurance company is paying me for my bodily injury claim, i had a bad back before the incident but it was made worse after , so i have been to a general physician, a pain specialist, a chiropractor, physical therapy, was forced to quit my job at UPS, taken blood tests, middle and upper back x-rays, and a cat scan. Along with the night of the accident i went to the emergency room, and the whole time my insurance company was paying for everything. So now his insurance company has cut me a check, 6-4-06, and I'm getting mixed responses that I have to payback what my health insurance company was paying for me to do all that crap that i went through. But some are saying that if it has been over a year i dont need to pay them back. im not sure what i HAVE to do, because i really would like to not be have to pay them back because it wouldnt leave me with much and we do pay them monthly so whythe ---- do we have an insurance company if they need to be paid back when i get hurt due to someone else, ---- if i didnt even have insurance i would be in the same spot if it was necessary to pay those bastards back.

sorry for the paragraph i'll sum it up

1 get in accident 3-15-05
2 go to shitloads of docs/emergency room rack up alot of bills
3 my health insurance company pays for them
4 Guy that hit me's insurance company cuts me a check for bodily injury 6-4-06, over a year later
5 Do i have to use that check to pay my heatlh insurance company back?

You shouldn't have to pay ----. If you pay for health insurance. If it would have been your fault they would still need to pay for your medical bills.

i seriesly dont understand insurance companys. becuase we have to have car insurance. but everytime we use it, it goes up. i say as long as there not asking for the money dont give them the money.

the reason health insurance kicks *** is when u have kids.. ---- like glasses.. asthma ----.. pediatricians (kids get sick alot!) dentists.. all that ----.. ----.. with insurance u just pay copay.. and ur monthly rate.. and ur done.. but without insurance ud get fucked in the ***..

i had a friend think his insurance was still covering him he went into the dentist and had a couple fillings and a tooth pulled and got a 3000 dollar billl!!!!

i would keep it.. if it was for your insurance company it would have been written out to them.. but it was written out to you.. so its ur money...

and if his insurance company had to reimburse your healthinsurance company and instead they paid u.. ur insurance company is going to go after them for the money..

well this is the thing, i got a check for 7g's, my insurance paid 4700 for everything i went through, i added up all my bills and had a CT scan paper without the price and showed that too HIS insurance company and they credited me for 1500 when it only cost 750, and the check was written to me, so i guess im going to hold onto the money for a while and if my insurance company asks for it i will pay them it, if not, then the money is mine.

dude. think of it this way. You have full coverage on your car, you get in an accident. You pay the monthly premium, do you have to pay for the damages done to the car? No. You pay a deductible to have the car repaired. If anything you just have to pay a deductible.

no you don;t have to pay them back, if you did then everytime you wreck your car you would have to pay them back for fixing it, if you make your monthy payments then you have already payed them.

trust me, if those ******* wanted money they would let you know, generally the two companies work out the details between themselves.
