just get it and dont worry about it. the only thing youll have to watch out for is spam and ---- cusd now youll be online all the time, so get a good virus scanner like pcccillin and youll be straight.

Lets clear one thing up for the n00bz.
you often see services advertising 5mbps downstream!
5mbps = 5 megaBITS per second.
8 bits = 1 byte
so if they say it can download at up to 5mbps (5120kb/sec) they really mean a MAXIMUM of 640KB/sec (as seen in windows while downloading something).
KB = KiloBYTE
Kb = kiloBIT
Most all services advertise in kilo or mega BITS because the numbers are exagerated of real throughput.

DSL is lame in our area, ya its better for uploading things compared to Cable. But I swear to god my cable now is atleast 5 times faster than my old dsl was. Its like comparing a D15 NA to a Built GSR, no comparison
