A/C Removal on a Civic

I'm trying to put a t25 turbo in my 2000 civic and I've come to the conclusion that I can't do it without removing the A/C. Does anyone know or have directions on how to do it.

How to remove the AC.. well I will give you a breif description, its fairly easy.. First you will need to go to a shop that will discharge your A/C system, this shouldnt cost that much at all.

First, disconnect all the lines, they have large style nuts on almost all the fittings, just work your way from the firewall all the way to the compressor, You may have to take off the front bumper and core support to gain access on removing the AC Condensor. Once all the lines are off, you can start taking off the compressor, and compressor bracket. 4 14mm bolts. You can also take off the AC belt tensionar. Once you get everything out of the engine bay, you can decide if you want to take out the Evap core, located next to the heater box. This will require removal of dash. But you dont really have to do this if you are just trying to free up space in the engine bay.

thats about it, its pretty much a no brainer, just look at all the crap, and disconnect it. Shouldnt take longer than a few hours with basic hand tools.

Its 134a in there so if you bleed it out the low side you would be fine. If you know what I'm talking about.

i *think* the low side has a blue cap.

if you bleed it out yourself, make sure you wear very very heavy gloves. you dont want to get frost bite.
