Buying a online business?

I have a chance to buy a internet business, the site is laksupply.com they sell all types of hunting and shooting accessories. Everything is shipped through the wholesaler with markups of around 20%. Average profit is about 3-6k per year and more depending on how much is advertised via ebay, gunbroker, auction arms, etc etc. It would cost me $5500 to buy the website and probably about 500 to run it for 1 year. Im on the wall whether or not I should buy it, on one hand I have plenty of time to list items and on the other hand, the economy is ---- and the market is bad. I would change the site and specialize in AR and AK parts or possibly some other firearms specialty. So what do you guys think? yes or no? Everything is drop shipped so I would not have to hold any inventory unless i chose to.

i wouldn't do ---- with the economy the way it is now. hunting/outdoors ---- equals extra gas/diesel.

if you get alot of customers in texas then i would say yes...

texans arent money savvy... they would drive 100 miles for some bbq... so id think they would drive as far to shoot some animals

why is this business even available for sale? if it's guaranteed to be no work and pay for itself in a year, it would have sold to someone the first day it was on the market. smells fishier than my mothers snapper.

He says it takes him too much time to list everything on auction sites and its taking time away from his family. I know for sure its not a scam, but im not positive that I can make my money back easily.

If everything is drop shipped then doesn't that mean you don't have a choice in what inventory you get from week to week?

------' deer hunters galore here in the south bro. If you do that ----, make sure you're able to easily cater to the parts of the country where hunting is prevelant. As far as the economy is concerned, redneck, hillbilly hunting types will let their ------' power get cut off before they go without paying there huntin' club dues...

letting the market choose the way you live is retarded. granted its not easy, but its stupid to live like that. The market wont suck forever. Buy it.
