----! i just went on my lunch break at work and had to go to the post office to ship something, and got pulled over for expired tags. no big deal right? wrong, my liscence is revoked 
i told the guy my liscense was suspended and he went back to his car and came back a few minutes later and told me their computer was down. if i just told him i didn't have my liscence on me, i would have gotten off because there was no way he could have found out. luckily he just made me park my car and i walked to the post office and called someone from work to come pick me up and made it back before lunch was over. moral of the story, hoesty ISN'T always the best policy.

ya, I lied to a cop once and got off, I probably would have gotten a disturbing the peace or something. a friend of mine rang a doorbell and ran away, we drove off in another friend's van, and on the way home in the van we got pulled over and told the cop we didn't know about it.

everyone lies to cops, but if i lied and said i had a liscence, when he went to his car to look it up he would have known that i lied to him and he prolly would have arrested me and said "if you just told me the truth, i would have just written you a ticket and let you go", so i didn't want to risk it, especially since i had to be back to work in 30 min., how the hell was is suppose to know his computer was down

Well tell me about what happens when your license is revoked or suspended... I JUST got pulled over for speeding. I addmitted I was speeding, but the cops say's I was doind double the speed limit. I don't think I was, but I wasn't watching my speed either. So I have a choice here... Fight the ticket or just pay it off and deal.
I have a funny feeling I won't be driving for a while. Dammit.

I had a suspended license for two years and got pulled over several times with no problems. I just told them everything was good. I don't know why it never showed up. I guess I got lucky. 
I even got pulled over on my way to spend the weekend in jail with my suspended license and they never said anything.....well, they did give me $820 worth of tickets.
