one thing i can't understand is why would you steal a TV if you won't have power for at least two months and better yet a home to watch it in? food is one thing but come on. looting for food is survival but when you are looting for 50 pairs of sneakers and your walking in at least two feet of water so nobody can see your feet anyways it just doesn't make any sence. people are dieing of thirst and hunger but "check out all these shoes i got".

thats some good evidence. Now if your saying only black people are looting your wrong. The police knew people down there was looting and it was for food and clothes, blankets which is fine they need it. For the other ---- like tvs and and things they dont need is fine. But they also steal guns for protection against other people who are crazy. The news reporters and cops already know they are looting but for the benifits of themselves because they dont have any clothes or food.

Now dont take to assumption that black people are the only one looting. I saw some white people looting as well which makes it just as bad as the black people. doesn't matter how many doing it or not its still wrong. both races are doing it.

And show me more ---- of people looting no matter what its still a small fraction compared to the thousand that are not.

when i first seen it on the news my girlfriend and i were talking about volenteering to help out however we could but when we seen how they were acting and ---- we said ---- that. in a time that your community needs to come together and be the strongest people are raping and beating each other. why help people if they aren't helping each other? why would i waste my time and money to go all the way down there to try and help some inconsiderate ***** that are just gonna spit in my face because "i'm white and god made a huricane hit them and not me" or "the white man made them live below sea level".

People need to realize that your opinions on looting are based on photos/video that is taken by other people and any personal views they may share. I'm not saying reporters are racist but imagine you're an editor w/a bunch of photos before you and you have to choose one. Is it gonna be a bunch of white people looking for food and taking some clothes -OR- a bunch of blacks rolling outta foot locker? The looting is just a second story for the news to cover.
