the only thing about that is the color difference of the junkyard bumper, I have a spare but its black. I have it incase a few year later I dont like it or plan to sell the car I can install the new bumper. from all the pics I've seen of them they look ok, so I think I will like it on my car. I will put painted mesh behind the holes to blend ib with the carbon.

you could have got a full sheet of a/c type sheet metal(its not a skid plate, it doesn need to be thick) , a pair of tin snips, mounting hardware, and some paint for less than the $115 for the scrap peice of CF w/ holes cut in it. and it would look a whole lot better(hell you prob wouldnt even be able to see it)

That's more along the lines of what I was thinking of doing with my car, but do it both front and rear.

some people honestly don't like certain things like carbon fiber,diffusers etc. and you know who they are.
but majority of the people who bash and talk ---- nonsense, are just trying to fit in, band waggon type deals. with me its honesty I care less if someone like it or not, as long as I like it. I ask opinions to support my decisions but not to make my decisions if you know what I mean. these threads usually reminds me of the honda-tech rota threads, they only hate them because majority of the members don't like them, and they are not mad tyte jdm. if you get my drift. its not about what the crowd is doing its about a person like. just my rant. (I may a ricer but everything on my car is somewhat justifed, and I don't regret any of it, except the fact that it took me so long to do it.)

if he'd done the rear correctly, he could have created some high speed downforce by creating low pressure zones behind each rear wheel......

Del Sol I'm helping finish will be set up to run ECTA in 2009. Tranny is already built, should be good for 165-170 mph on SOHC power. Aerodynamics will be critical at those speeds, esp. with the shorter Sol wheelbase.
