Bukakee or Kain for the firefox win.
So, this morning I'm on firefox, it's all good. Now I go to firefox and it is "all brand new". Almost like I erased everything and downloaded firefox again. All my bookmarks are gone and all that ----. WTF is up with this? I didn't reboot firefox or anything.
I just opened it, erased all history and ran adware. All it came up with was tracking (from remembering passwords). I can't figure out where all the bookmarks went. Where you at Kain, you firefox midget. :D |
Re: Bukakee or Kain for the firefox win.
mine did this to me about 2 months ago. totally pissed me off. bacially, you lost your bookmarks. make sure you have the latest updates.

Re: Bukakee or Kain for the firefox win.
That's happened to me a few times... Something about losing the profile or some ----?
I just started over and redid all of my bookmarks. I also started using a bookmark backup extension: http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/ |
Re: Bukakee or Kain for the firefox win.
If you go to start ---> run and enter the command:
firefox.exe -profilemanager You can verify that it's not a profile issue (more than one) and see what profile is currently active. My firefox occasionally randomly changes/creates profiles on its own and I'll see the same symptoms as you describe. |
