The daytime staff members were very nice. However the evening staff was not very friendly. There was no pool, Jacuzzi or gym.

My wife and I were traveling from Chicago to Mount Clemens to attend a wedding. We had reserved a room at the Comfort Inn, Mount Clemens Michigan for the 20th of May, 2006. Before we reserved the room we called the hotel to make sure that we would be able to check in before 4:00 pm so that we would have time to prepare for the wedding which was scheduled to start at 4:00 pm. The clerk assured us that we would not have a problem with early check-in. When we arrived, we were informed that we would not be able to check in until after 4:00 pm. When we informed the desk clerk that we had called the previous day and were informed that we could check in early, the clerk became rude basically told us "Too bad."

We ended up having to go to a different hotel where we had absolutely no problem checking in early to prepare for the wedding. We will never even consider staying at this hotel again. We also ended up having to pay for the room even though we did not stay there due to the fact that they lied to us and were extremely rude and insulting.

We needed a room with two beds and we got a room with only one bed. We did not even have a radio in our room. The elevator really needs upgrading. Remodeling of the hallways to be more appealing would be nice, but not necessary. I have stayed here twice thus far.
