I can't make out any cracks at all. Looks like a big scratch in the first pic.

There's no room for coolant at the top of the sleeve, where it is hottest. Not surprised AT ALL to see scrape marks on the sleeves from the pistons. #3 piston looks pitted by detonation.You can tell by carbon pattern the sleeve with the worst scratches is #3. Lotsa back to back pulls with no coolant to leech away heat lets #3 thermally buildup and crap out.

People don't seem to realize what it does by devconing the whole top half of the motor :-/ hotrex still is posting on h-t that its ok and that he thinks it was bad gas.

yeah those be some blurry *** pics. between that and my bad eyesight i cant see ----.

I've got a 1/2" gap for coolant on the SOHC, and it's not like it will even need a cooling jacket. If I like what I see, I'll run it with no coolant and eventually yank the head to pour the block solid.

I can see a crack in 3. and it deffinatly looks like 3 was burning water. Not very much water though.

wow, that's hardkroo. I thought I was crazy for hardly seeing anything. I could barely see what could be a crack or a pubic hair on one of them

I see some skirt scratches and 1 crack, not 4 cracks like claimed... But then again the pics look like ----.
