built up a d16 for T3/T4 turbo
 

i wonna built up my d16 for a T3/T4 turbo with between 15-20 psi. what internals should i buy to build up my d16?

just slap a ssauto kit on there and you can boost 49 psi

Jago's right, get some forged pistons/rods. I'd also recommend arp head studs and a good headgasket :y

put the t3/t4 on your car chop your ------- head off shove the charge pipe down your throat and put a brick on the accelerator. thats about all the headwork you need to do. :-*

yeah dude, get a good head gasket, arp head bolts, then pistons n rods is up to you. any forged pistons n rods will get the job done tho. keep it to a decent compression ratio tho. dont head up to high.

for somethign daily, low to mid 9 is cool. stock ls is 9.1-1 n that is so-called ideal for turbo. ur choice tho kiddo. people boost 10-1 or 8.5-1... the lower you go the crappier your car feels out of boost. just ask whitey :S

i have a t3 turbo d16z6, and what i did is darton flange sleeves, skat rods, wiesco low compr. pistons 8:1, block guard, and the basic head upgrades p&p, valve springs, cut back valves. Everybody in here will tell you to take your time and do it right!! and the cheap way always cost more in the long run O0

Actually its not that bad with 8.0:1. I don't think I've ever complained about it I've just always said if I'd do it again I'd keep it in the 9's.

Obviously low compression helped a little cause I ran 11psi non intercooled on the hack beating the ---- out of it daily and nothing ever broke. :6

just get rod and piston, head bolt, oem gasket, might want to fill the block or post it to miniumize the chance of cylinder destortion. (spell :P)
