Building a "barn"

Not really TOO off topic, but for those of us that work on the car in the grass/driveway, we all share that same hatred towards bugs, and wet grass.

I'm going to weld up a frame (big enough to drive the rex under and open the doors, etc... and I'll be wrapping the frame with that weather/storm siding material. Does anyone have any 'simple' ideas as to where I can find that siding material for cheap? I can get the material for the frame.. so no problem there.

But anyway, I'll be taking pictures, etc.. of the thing when it's done, and maybe Jeff can add this stupid idea to the "tech projects".. lol :P

But I just need a place to work.

uhm yeah.. i would use just basic 2x4 stud structure with insulation and plywood..

having a metal structure is gonna be hot as ---- in the summer and cold in the winter.

i think u could build a good sized shop/garage thing with 500$
home depot time :)

I think whatever you do your going to have bugs. ---- you should see the spiders we get here in the northwest. I swear some of those ------- spiders are bigger than I am. After I kill a big one I usually leave him there for a while so his spider friends know what will happen if they get anywhere near my shoe.

if you decide to use any wood materials at all....make sure you spray that stuff with weather proofing stuff...cause if not...1 good year and it will start to rot of termites have fun with it.

There you go that is a good layout for what you want. All that stuff you can get at home depot if you lived near me i could give you most of the supplies as far as extra wood and nails go but i live in Georgia.
