vette = better gas mileage & more reliable than turbocharged 240 especially with the stock motor in it
240 = bad gas mileage, slow, cheap, pos, unreliable, etc..

Most people who hate GM are ignorant and have never worked on or owned one. That was me 2 years ago. I talked about how they were so shitty and how honda was so much better. Than through my job i was forced to use and work with GM products and my opinion has changed significantly. Every car company makes good and bad cars. The products GM is pushing out today are good quality.
Im not talking about late 70's to 90's stuff. But the stuff they make today is pretty quality in my opinion. I dont really consider myself biased either. I drive a Honda and have never owned a GM or worked on one before my current job.

My folks have an astro van with a 4.3 and its at 254k miles... Still running strong with some 20w-50 oil in it now. I think a lot of it is just taking care of what you own
