------- broke my headphones......
I had this pair of headphones. I really liked them. They're ear bud style but they're like ear plugs with speakers as opposed to the full plastic style.
I really liked them and I paid like $40 for these ******* because I wanted a nice pair of headphones. I used them when riding on my motorcycle because they help with the wind slap.
Long story short they got caught on the bike when I got off and the cord broke in half at the in-line volume control.
I don't give a ---- about keeping the volume control **** in but I would really like to be able to reuse these headphones. Has anyone had any luck soldering those damn little wires? anything special I should think about when trying to fix these?
and i know i just made 2 threads in 5 minutes but the two are not related at all so i figured why not.

after 2 years of babying them, my mdr v700s just stopped working. that's a 90 dollar expense i don't want to incour right now, especially since i have just joined the ranks of the vee dubbers with a check engine light
could be worse, they were 175 the last time i bought them.
