Brake upgrades... fluid?
Ok guys i recently installed aem brake pads in the accord and theyre way better than stock, but do any of you run special brake fluid? Im thinking about changing mine because its prolly the same shizz that came with the car (ugh...1988)

No need to run special brake fluid. If you're thinking about upgrading to DOT 10 silicone stuff then you would have to change your hoses and other ---- too. El cheapo DOT 3 is where it's at.

what year accord is it? if its 90+ you should upgrade the front brakes to the one off of a accord wagon

Earls makes some high temp/racing ---- that we put in the cop cars for highway partrol.

I put nothing but dot99 in the hatch, oh wait, I've never done ---- with the brakes except change the pads once, and now I get squeaking from all 4 corners, ---- the rear drums, I have some disks to put in, I just need to buy the brake lines, rotors, and pads. |

i use ultra lube carbon fiber brake fluid, i get it at walmart next to the APC stuff. =D

Don't take my word for it but I heard you can go to ford and ask for fluid for a big truck like a f350. I heard it's still dot3 but it will take higher temps and mix with regular stuff.
