brake issues while, during or after boosting! HELP!!!!!!!!

hey guys, has anyone had braking issues like mine once they boost their cars? the pedal goes to the floor, and the brake's will work a little bit, but I gotta downshift real fast if i dont' want to eat the guy's ass that's sitting at the red light ahead of me... thanks guys and any info is appreciated!

might have something to do with your vaccum lines or your M/C is bad.

I just lost all pedal feel in my crx last night. Pedal went right to the floor but with one or two pumps it can still hold. I went out to autozone and picked up a new master cylinder for $65. Ill put it in tonite and hopfully get my brakes back. Is there anything else that could cause this?

sounds like its something that does'nt have to deal with boost. I can see low vaccum and making it harder to push on your pedal but your brakes will still be there. I would check the master cylinder, lines, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders, basically a whole brake inspection or take it some place like tires plus and have them do it for free.

every time I beat the brakes up on the civic it loses all pedal feel for a while. I got some Super Blue fluid to try because I am convinced the fuild is boiling. I will let you know what happens.

It`s most likly a bad master cylinder.
I`ve seen a few of them lost pressure only after the car heats up (after hard run, sitting in traffic with A/C on etc.)

replace it ASAP before you lost brake and almost died for 3+ times like me :-X :P
