bought my first turbo today the guy at the junkyard said it came of a grand-am (didnt know they were ever boosted) its a garret the charge side a/r is .48 and i dont see the a/r on the exhaust side anywhere so wondering if anyone could help me out on what size the exhaust a/r is...it says garret M24 on the charge side and 38369 if that means anything ..looks like a t2 flange here's the best part it has a rebuild tag on it no shaft play spins freely came with d/p elbow 02 sensor oil lines water lines and the stock manifold that just says GM i got it for 60 ------- DOLLARS .. i think i got a bomb as deal ... p.s. brother thinks it might possibly be off a sunbird... will take some pics tomorrow

If it's a turbo off a Sunbird.....I would have left it there.

1990 grand-am 3.1 were turbo charged i dont know the size of the turbo but they were rare to find a 3.1 turbo motor

1990 or 1991 grand am were turbo rare motor to find its a 3.1 l how much would u want for that mani? i have a beretta and if i turboed it i would need that mani pm me

Look carefully on the exhaust housing, there should be a number there. Might just need a cleaning to see but my guess is that its a .48.

almost forgot, if it did come off the grand PRIX, its a T25

came off a sunbird i believe its a 48/49 its now on my buddy's mini me and running real good holds 6 psi all the way till redline
