I look at it as 8200-new pads-new clutch-timing belt(450 at honda)=somewhere in the high 6 to low 7 range. I also see it as this person sat in the car for 4 years and put on 80k highway miles, interior is ------- mint, plastics and carpets look brand new(some platics even have the clear film coating that hasnt been peeled off yet), exterior has been maintained meticulousy(clay bar-ed atleast once in its life aswell as some sort of synthetic wax), motor and transmission are solid and the new clutch works flawlessly grabbing hard under heavy loading. The extended warranty costed me nothing and only added the peace of mind that when im ripping the car a new one if anything is to break(mainly something in the tranny) that i am obligated to replace nothing and honda is the sole party responsible.

How did you apply a heavy load to it? ???

:P

When I was 17 I drove a piece of ---- car that I wouldn't even want parked near my house. I would be more than happy to be driving that car around at your age. You probably could have got it cheaper private party, but like you said, it's got a warranty and they fixed ---- before you got it so who cares if you paid $1000 more.
