i got it for a grand.. i couldnt find a older supra or rx7 so this was my choice. i need something to work on anyways when im at auto school and have open shop becuase my civic has no problems

Jesus Christ guys. 
He's only 17 years old. I was driving a serious pile of ---- at the age of 17. I would have loved to have that car when I was his age. Who fuckign cares if the interior is ugly. Who fuckign cares if the motor needs work. Who fuckign cares if it's not the fastest ------- car on the road. He's 17 years old. If he would have posted a sick *** Supra you guys would have ragged his *** for having mommy and daddy buy his ---- for him and given him just as much disrespect. What do you want from him?
The car is ugly(IMO) and probably does have some serious problems, but you're going to learn a lot about working on cars with it. I had to change my spark plugs in my old Dodge at least once a week because the motor was so worked. $8 a week in spark plugs and about $200 in gas and oil just to keep the pile of ---- running, but it was my pile of ---- and it got me to work and taught me a ton of mechanics skills that I wouldn't trade for the world.
