it may be easier to swap a wrx engine in, aren't all the subarus on the exact same chassis? you just need to get a different part of the sub-frame for the front?

Stick with the 2.5. I hear those ******* were pretty quick from the factory.

Let Lola have a good car. Put down the wrench Julio and step back from her car. :P Naw actually Julio the Legacy came TT in Japan. Just have Frank pick up the mani and snails and just do the rest Julio style.

its easier to swap a motor than to turbo the stock one, as well as more reliable and if its the wifes car that would be a nice selling point to her on it.

STi RA Spec from CA 277 hp for around 2200 I believe

Forgot where its from, it should be a pretty easy to find some.

Just walk down the street and check out your many importers that are by you, you retard! Fabbing up a mani for those boxers looks like it'd be a royal PITA.

Like everyone is sayin, drop in motor instead of turboing it, plus yur 50 000 mile stocker might even be nice for spare if you run in to problems with the wife..... I bought a legacy once and it was allready turbo, but as far as modyfing the car i was told the best thing I could do was to put in an STi motor.... i had a buddy offering me the wholle shabang fresh from a 04 for 1500$ but i had to sell my legacy
