If you're referring to Dustin, I believe it had to do with the slicks not being able to fit on his car...

If your refering to me, i chose the azenis over the 24.5in slicks, My car hardly has enough power to even spin those *******. Dave had his skirt on all day long at the track and didnt want to trade slicks. I think we could have had better ET's if I used the 22's and if he used the 24.5's.

wish i could have made it down. yet another year things seemed to not click for me to get down there. oh well looks like some sweet action went down. maybe next year my project car will be running. anyone happen to see a primered dodge colt running? he would have been in the mid 9's to low 10s. that is a guy i know from portland.

Ya, some of us were unsure wtf it even was. Built 4g63 behind a built automatic dsm trans... it ripped with the 28in slicks

So yesterday I was just so baffeled that my car was only boosting 14-15psi at the track with the wastegate blocked off. So I made a block off plate that would go inbetween the adapter plate and the turbo. The exhaust housing I have on that turbo is a 1.0 Tang (split/divided housing), so one of the ports is completely blocked off. This basically speeds up the exhaust velocity and forces all the exhaust do go down one port. I just got back from my test drive and it was hitting 21-22ish psi. Glad I still got race gas in the car, lol the 28 degree timing map is great

you ar ecorrect as to which motor and tranny it was but one thing is wrong. as long as i have known him its been a stock bottomend. he just got a sponser for the first time last year and its jsut so he can use their dyno to correctally tune it. uptil then he had only street and track tuning. anyone know what he ended up running?
