My nephew got a wicked botfly in Costa Rica two summers ago. My bro and I pulling that out was probably the nastiest thing ever. A 2" long bot fly from a 4 year old kid :/

That botfly in the cat is LOCAL to the west coast!!!!! I have found them on rabbits in Eastern oregon all my life. They get to be as big as your thumb!!!!
