when did borg warner start making turbos? news to me.. they are the biggest transmission maker in the world, have many offshoots like asin warner and such for different breeds of trannys, but turbos now... huh

What hole did you crawl out of?
They have been making big turbos for a long time.Mostly for BIG Cat diesel engines(dozers,earth movers,generators).
