The main difference is that he must have been running a fat pair of slicks. My best 60' was like a 2.22- and his are 1.7's. He had to be running slicks to get that much traction.
I ran on street tires at the track and my best E/T run was 13.786 @ 102.03. Other times and traps on that run are: 60' of 2.245, 594E/T of 8.447, 1/8 E/T of 9.000, 1/8 @ 81.36, 1000'E/T of 11.536. My highest trap that day was 105.61mph crossing the line with an E/T of 13.849.

I was spinning the tires 1st -3rd gears....god damn 195/60r14's. :P

i was running 22 by 8 slicks. they hook up really good banging gears but launching i spin them a little. my et's are very good but i'll admit i was expecting some higher mph's. prolly will get some better than 107 but i wasn't revvin the **** out of it like i usually do. was shiften around 7500-7700. next time i will rev it to 8100 and see if it improves my mph. i just didn't want to blow it up cause i just got it done and dont wanna rip it apart again for awhile. i have another engine sitting in my garage but i'd like to get it built over the winter so i can run some serious boost.
