we have aircare in vancouver and the lower mainland.
but on this pretty little island, you can straight up inject oil and coolant in along with your fuel, and drive around all day long.

in my state the only emissions "control' is when you get yoru car inspected every two years, they look underneith it and see if thre is something that resembles a catalytic converter and then you are done.

well im from cali and i got hassled from some guy next to me pealing out in a civic when i was in my 240... cop pulled me over while the civic drove off and the cop touched my front tire and said i was peeling out..then came the lowering bs. my wangan is illegal, my ws apexi was carb legal..but said it was illegal cuz its a distraction and my side mount was visible...then came the hood poppin and i guess happened to know what a sr20 was...then came a tow truck. thank god when i got it back from the impound only my boostcontroller and boost gauge was takin

Cool, might as well keep it going now.
Cops aren't too bad from around here, they won't pull you over for random ---- done to your car. We have no emissions testing so they could give a ---- less.
I did get pulled over one time for...er...nothing. I started off at an intersection like normal then the ghost of Mr. Honda himself whispered in my ear that we needed some VTEC, so I happily obliged. I wound out 1st gear to about 35mph then shifted into 3rd and started slowing down, about 2 blocks down the road I look behind me and here comes a car coming up on me pretty quick, oh ---- it's a cop...drive normal. Got stuck at a red light with him behind me, once it turned green and I cleared the intersection, on came the lights.
The guy was a total *****, he was very offensive and rude and I was halfway tempted to get his badge number and report it. Turns out my insurance card was not effective anymore (never recieved a new one in the mail) so I got a no insurance ticket and thats all, since he said he had no radar on me and no proof that I was speeding, but "I bet you were doing atleast 40! (in a 35!)"
I also had the urge to say "So you pulled me over because you THOUGHT I was speeding? Get out of my face, you piece of ----."
Sometimes I think some of these police officers need to be reminded that their job is to protect and serve, not protect and harass.
