If that Subaru uses the good ol' IHI Rhb5 it's a small turbo an a DSM or talon turbo might be better.
I know subarus use and still use IHI Turbos, but try and find out which one is it. Either way it should work fine on an RHB5. Also keep in mind that subaru's or at least my WRX, have a boost solenoid, or a factory boost controller. My tubo's wastegate is set @ 7psi but that boost controller makes the car boost around 14 psi at times, so that older sube might have something similar.

i think he was talking about actually bending the actuator bracket in towards the arm as opposed to lengthening the arm, i've never heard of this, but it seems like it would work
