Default Body work.

Im buying a $150 Datsun tommorro, and it need some surface rust removed. Should I grind that ---- down, then slap body fill over it ? What about in the lower quarter panel, (ahead of the read wheel ). Should I just throw a peice of fiber glass over it, that way it looks descent and body fill too ? All it needs is this ---- done than it passes inspection.

I know, im a sucker for cheap cars, but this one is a $150 and its gonna get the middle of the roof cut out this summer when we go camping

oh ya, its a 1983 Sentra SPORT

Actually no its not, size for size bondo is more expensive than metal, and will take more work to finish when working with something this big, and if you wanna half *** something then at least use fiberglass, do like 3-4 layers, but I would either rivet or weld. when do a slight bondo finish.

LOL, about $50-$100 for what you need, get a sheet of 20 gauge galvanized metal. and that ---- will outlast the rest of the car
$50 for bondo and ---- like that

so we have $150 so far

and paint...you can use spraypaint to get that old school harlem look, or you can take it to a shop, throw the remaining $150 at the guy and get a maacco style paintjob.

well apparently alberta isnt so hard on exterior rust, aslong as the frame is fine and suspension is good, then its not that big of deal.
