body gurus. halp!
so, i got this new lexus. Paint is excellent and only a few scattered small dings. but this....this ruins it all...
I'm OK with fiberglass, I've used it a few times. Would that be the way to repair this beast? I'd probably opt to have it professionally painted assuming I could fix it without ------- it up worse. Someone obviously backed over a curb or some ----. When I got the car yesterday the muffler was like crunched into the chassis, I had to pry-bar the muffler so it would put its weight on the bushing which is now fubar, thus the low hang. Anyways, here it is. Would fiberglass even be the right way to fix this? Any pointers? Edit: Yeah I need to pretty up the exhaust tip for reals. Would chrome paint be gay? I dont think black would look right. ??? http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/6...sbooboowl3.jpg |
Re: body gurus. halp!
Id try a metal polish on the tip, and get a new bumper cover for the rear. I use a Dent Wizard guy, he does great work on dings that dont need paint.

Just get some aluminum (shiny) engine paint.

Re: body gurus. halp!
what you would have to do is get a new bumper. or hide it by putting a metal plate on it to make its seem like you have allot of horsepowers. enough to melt the bumper with the mufler.
