OOOOOOOOO I almost got a Raptor .30 when they were new in 2000 for a grand. Got my CAP232 instead.
Those were full carbon fiber Hyperion blades. Normally $40 a set. They are very stiff (great for aerobatics) and very beautiful. Didnt last too long tho... When the one-way bearing failed it lost the tail rotor and went cartwheeling across the front yard in idle-up after a major boom strick (3200rpm*blade length = 262mph tail boom strike)
And why on earth would you ROFL on a trex-450. They're faster than nearly any nitro boat right out of the box and last time i checked boats and cars are for gay newbies that dont have cooridnation to fly LMAO

Thanks for noticing how much better my super chipmunk looks compaired to the normal striped version! It had about 40-50 hours in just covering that bitch to make it look that hot. Pumped OS 91 4 stroke and a pitts muffler. Controls modified for 3D throw rates & flaperons added. Most SC's can't do 3D aerobatics, that one can do mild 3D and some freaking awesome blenders! You can sit it down in a continuous flat spin too. Between all that torque and control throw it'll just stop dead and you can stay in the flat spin and gain or loose altitude at will.

It doesn't fly anymore. The entire turtledeck of it started to delaminate so I just stripped it for a display plane. ---- that nose was a good 20-30 hours to build alone. Carved the whole thing out, made my own exhausts for it & inverted the little throttled .051 engine. Took for ------- ever to get the fuel system correct.
