just thought i'd tell you all i just pushed my mom's husbands BMW M5 to 100 MPH in my CRX

It's fun ;), Last time at the street races I raped everyone, except for an srt-4. damn neons >:(

I love the excuses after. the car's muffler bearings are not tuned so I'm not getting enough air inside the head, and the gas is burning too much, so it won't give me enough power on the highway, so I need to go to pepboys and buy some led back up lights and intake.

Now an M5 is a completely different level. good job, it always feels good to see your work is actually giving you good results

we were moving the cars about in the drive and neither of us like to start cars up and switch them off after letting it warm up properly so i followed him round the block (i live in the country) so its a big block and he finally gave in and booted it, we got to 100 and slowed down, i suppose its kinda irresponsible but i wanted to know how my car stood against it, with it having 343bhp as standard

hahha the wheels a his car fell off...i took my crx to 110 once and that was some scary ---- i don't feel safe in it. i took my sisters rsx to 125ish and i still didn't feel safe these cars aren't made for high speeds like that...i feel safer in my slow ass 318is at 95 on the highway than either of those cars

Well, I raced a new M5 when i had the MR2. we're at a stop light im like nice car man, hes like yea same to you. Then he says "Lets see what you got", so I floor it, and hes pacing right next to me so I think im doing good. Then he yells "My turn!" And ------- leaves me like i was standing still. Amazing car...

yeah, they are awesome. i was behind one at a light not too long ago and he prolly saw the intercooler and thought 'what a tool', so he floors it when the light turns green and lit the ---- out of the tires, the ass end was all over the place. little did he know i was just an n/a ricer rockin a fmic ::)

i took my edm civic si up to 225 kph with no problems even passed an slk kompressor doing it. :D

dohc zc now sporting a t25, anyone that tells me its too small is talking ---- if its good enough to put on a 2.3 16v saab its good enough for my little ricepot, i didnt 'get him i kept with him pretty much even, i think if it had been a standing start he would have left me but w/e, and my mom doesnt know she'd kick his ass for taunting me to race lol

That setup won't keep up with a M5. Either M5 was running on 3 cylinders, or your stepdad cant drive for ----.

I'm going to have to assume he is talking about an E34 M5 in which case he is probably telling the truth. an E39 M5 would do 100, slow down to 60, then back up to 100 before you got up to 100

but if you read what i say, it wasnt a standing start and he was giving it full throttle and he didnt pull away we only got to 100mph anything after that and he would have left me for ----, but, before you al start telling me my setup wouldnt keep with an M5 perhaps you should consider that perhaps that the power/torque to weight ratio of my car is better than that of an M5, i'm not saying that my car is all round faster than it but from about 30mph in second i kept up with him to 100mph, why would i bullshit that. I posted cos i was impressed that the time effort and money spent on getting my ---- together and finally setup at the rolling road has all paid off for the fact that I can stick it to top end cars...... cant be arsed to go on cause its not worth it at the end of the day i'm the one who enjoys driving my motor and i know what it can do and what it cant

Cap, perhaps you would tell me your setup?

bambooseven, i have no idea what model M5 it was but its a 1994 i think if that helps :)

When I raced the M5 i was in my MR2, and that had 2.0 DOHC 3S-GTE with the stock Boost/Turbo.(7 psi)
