BMW 318 325 w/e

Yeah, im prolly gonna go with a crx hf but still. The other day i was sitting down and i saw a bmw 325e go rollin by, and i was like hmmm maybe i could pimp one of those out. So i went on the net and was looking around for some specs on the different bmw models but being the lazy bastard i am i couldnt find anything. Anyone got any links or anything that could help me out?

Here are some basic ones: www.koperformance.com for some prefab kits, and www.e30tech.com is a good forum for 80's 3-series cars. A good buddy of mine twin turbo'd his '87 325, and daaaaaaang was that thing fun. He didn't even have to upgrade his pump or injectors, he just hooked up two IHI junkyard turbo's and let her rip. He let me drive it at 10psi, it had more push than a WRX (not an STi, don't go nuts). He also used low compression pistons to make room for that kind of boost, and it was nice. One thing you could do, if money wasn't a huge concern, is get a 325 and drop in an M3 motor, then pimp it out. That would be a real sleeper.

Dont get the 325E. The E stands for edda, which is German for "lets sell this piece of crap to the Americans". Dont get me wrong, I am a BMW fanatic and love everything they ever built(except the 320)and the edda engine lasts forever, but it's not a good high performance motor. It is a long stroke low RPM high torque motor that was made for fat lazy Americans that like automatic transmitions. Get the 325I or 325IS or the 318I or IS these are great rear wheel drive cars that are lots of fun, and parts are getting cheap. If you can find one get a 325 IX the all wheel drive BMW. There are lots of factory parts out there in the you pull it yards, like LSD in some of the IS models and the turbo setup off of the 525 Diesels that will work on the 325 head. I say go for it and do something different.

yeah, listen to customcoach, this man knows what he's talking about. You don't want one of those long-stroke engines with plenty of torque but no performance... I've ridden in one of those too, not very fun.
