wow, that's only about $65 more than my materials cost on my manifold and that one will probably work, oh well, at least I have a manifold made in my home.

---- milling, as soon as I grind down all the welds, reweld the holes, grind that ---- down, and get a gasket that bitch is going on there.

Atleast that log manifold is respectable kyle.. ::) lol, and for 150 bucks thats a pretty decent deal.

Honda16hb 08-31-2004 11:19 PM

Re:BMC hits ebay

wait wait, who's is respectable, mine or his? if you don't say both you're lying to yourself and everyone on here, he spent a shitload of time learning to weld and cnc so his could look good, I'm learning with mine, mine is a million times more valuable than that one because it's my first ever, bmc has made a shitload, that manifold probably isn't ---- to him but something to sell, when I'm done using my first manifold I'm going to frame that ----.

HMT-Admin 08-31-2004 11:25 PM

Re:BMC hits ebay

wow, you are a werid kid.. my first manifold I made I chopped it up and threw it in the garbage ???

Re:BMC hits ebay

$150 for this quality of a mani, well worth it.

i wish i could get one.

turboDA6 09-01-2004 12:55 PM

Re:BMC hits ebay

if i didnt have one already i woudla bought it. 150 is a steal for such great quality. my first ever manifold threw its self in the garbage after tryna boost 12psi on it and all the welds cracked and the turbo dropped :o i wasn't really mad about it cuz i didnt have faith in my self but really wanted to be turbo lol

Because we had to start somewhere. We are constantly trying to improve our products to provide the boosting tunners with better products. The company who doesn't try to improve will be left behind when all is said and done.

Re:BMC hits ebay

Not trying to bash, just stating facts, but I did see somebody posted some pics of a BMC mani on h-t and someone pointed out some poor penetration on a weld. I hope that isn't a recurring problem. Was this just a fluke?

turboDA6 09-16-2004 02:21 AM

Re:BMC hits ebay

i believe they have life time warrenty on any of the welds malfunctioning? check with them cuz they are big enough of a company to handle little problems... he got one little tweek in his manifold and cried on h-t... what else is new.

statements like this piss me off. Typical HT Full-Race bandwagon brainwashing. What constitutes poor penetration on the welds? One kid who sees a pic on the internet and decides it? Cast manifolds have no welds at all does this mean that they're the best manifold? This is a $200 manifold and I highly doubt that the welds will crack.

So far nobody's had a problem with these manifolds and your already saying that they have reoccuring problems and design flaws ::) The HT blind faith bandwagon is strong in you.

I'd rock BMC anyday of the week. Was the 150 manifold just a one time thing? I don't remember his website so I can look it up :-\

Re:BMC hits ebay

Re:BMC hits ebay

oh well there you go :P But still for 175, it ain't too bad, or you could go OBX ;)

SkunT 09-16-2004 09:38 AM

Re:BMC hits ebay

OBX and SSautocrap look to much alike.

not a good thing.

i would rather spend the extra buck on quality.
