i odered a manifold for the turbo kit that i'm putting together for my lil cousin, I paypaled the cash on May 27th and was told that it would be 2-3 weeks b/c he would have to order more material... i said cool, no problems... If i pay someone to do something i don't like to bust their balls every other day as to when its gonna be done... so i wait patiently. 3 weeks come up and no sign of my manifold or even an email to let me know how its comming along. I email BMC and he says that hes not aware of my manifold and that everything hes had on order has been shipped. He was helpful at trying to solve the problem so i was patient... he promissed me that next week i would see my manifold... i waited for 3 more weeks, i even emailed him to see whats up with my manifold 3 times!! and no reply back... untill i brought it to Stealthmodes attention.

I get an Email from BMC saying that my manifold is gonna be shipped out on monday... blah, blah, blahhh... 2 weeks later my manifold finally arrives... July 12th!! i'm ------- pisst but i'm just glad i got my manifold... thanks to Stealthmode checking up on it for me.

the welds look good on half the manifold and the other half look shitty...

i'm never gonna buy anything from this dude nor send any business his way... there are so many other people that make decent manifold for the same price such as Shitbird. Thats where i'm going for my own personal manifold.

cliff notes:
ordered my BMC maifold on may 27th, was promised 2-3 weeks... did not recieve the ------- manifold till July 12th. Mutherfawker did'nt return any of my emails untill Stealthmode got in contact with him to see what was up.

i recomend buying your manifold somewhere else!

BMC has a good rep here at hmt.....he's a busy guy sounds like your the first person with the bad apple.....

your right, BMC had a good rep HMT and thats why i chose to go with him for that particular manifold...
He hasn't given me any reason as to why its taken 2 months to make the manifold... if i hadn't asked Stealth to step in i'd probably be still waiting...

i understand alot of people have had good experience with BMC... but basicly i feel like i got fucked twice on one transaction.

o'well... just posting up my experience.

When things get super busy for a seller, that's the make or break time. You either dig yourself a bigger hole, or you clean up whats already started and then move on.
I have seen in the past months a few threads asking where BMC is, so we will see if this is an isolated incedent or if this is how it will be.



Side Note: If anyone at anytime has a problem with another member of HMT, please let me know so I can put some "pressure" where it is needed.

like stealthmode said, its tough. once you get a good rep, your getting 30+ emails a day, 20+ meatheads hitting you up on AIM asking stupid questions, and bitching that you didnt call them back.

taking care of all that ---- will take up half your day, thats a lot of wasted time, that could have been spent working. it can be a real son of a bitch. im not saying its ok that something got f'd up, but its bound to happen at some point.

may 27 tp jul 12 is not 2 months. :P

and you have down you waited 8 weeks in totol actually just shy of 6. either way, still not the 2-3 as promised.

Yo evo sorry to heard that. I thought about ordering a mani for sometime from that guy, but a few times i seen threads asking where is this guy. I got nervous and pulled back from doing business with him. I do believe he could be busy but ignoring your customers is not going to help your business grow. He should have given you that time frame. Everyone runs into a road block when your doing business but keep ppl inform of what's going on. Yo Stealth good job on putting your foot down.

how did i know someone was gonna actually go and add up all the weeks? ----, gimme a break! haaha... all i know is that i paid May 27th and recieved my many July 12th and all the BS in between.

I don't have a problem waiting if i know what is going on with my purchase. If BMC was like..."hey, i'm really backed up right now, your manifold is gonna take longer that expected" i would have totally understood...

all i gotta say is...I like the fact that Abaz likes to keep this place an open market, so that if something like this happens members won't have to put up with it...

This is true. Times like this will lead your stress level to go through the roof. I'd again like to Thank Craig at TunerToys for handling all of my retail sales. I may not be doing oil lines without Craig to help me get through this kind of situation that Zerodaze has explained. ;)

Yeah it took me a few months to get some flanges i needed made, but considering the quality of the flanges, low price, and that nobody else even makes them (that i know of) for my a20 accord... Im not gonna complain at all

I got my flanges within 5 days, and I'm just about on the other side of the planet.

I've been waiting on my summit order for over 2 months now. Everyone fucks up now and again... You have your ----. It's in good order. You know you were dealing with a small shop.
It sucks...but it happens.

Time to move on, and not ---- up someone's livelyhood for nothing.

I finally have the cash for some Flanges, and BMC doesnt return emails. anyone have an exhaust manifold flange for a b16a1 and a T3? i have cash. (i know this is the wrong forum)

I think I waited 2 weeks. He's ok. He does this ---- on the side and it has become a bigger buisness than I think he has expected. Cut him some slack. I have never heard him screw anybody over. They have always got their mainfolds.

ahahaha... BMC. I remnember when he first started out here, he was getting pounded because the first thing he did was put up a for sale thread :P

But as time went on, people loved him. He checked the site/his thread regularly and answered peoples questions and all was well in the forum. I was thinking about ordering stuff from him since people spoke so highly of his products and service.

But now, I don't know if I could :-\ He's never on the site anymore and there is a new thread evry week asking where he is since he doesn't respond to emails. :-\ I think that's where he went wrong, making a simple 'order page' and not having any involvement in the site, just strictly e-mail.

Don't get me wrong, I still think his products are fantastic, I would still like to buy from him, but I don't know when I would. What really sucks is his fancy adapter plates look kick ass.

The only thing I would ask of him is to weld better. I think that i might grind all his weld off and have them rewelded with a tig. It would look like a shitbird mani.

the mani's are not being made by sam, they are being made by his son, (don't remember his name) sam was the one who made the reputation, maybe his son is just not up to par with his pops?
